Question: docusate sodium gel tab stuck in lung opening then started disolving before I could cough it out.
throat is very sore and am coughing much mucus up.
Is this harmful to airway & lung.

You need to drink plenty of fluids orally. Avoid hard to chew food. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid loud speaking and do voice rest.
You will mostly improve in 1-2 weeks. If not improving or worsening than you should consult pulmonologist and get done bronchoscopic evaluation to rule out internal damage.
