Brief Answer: take ipill. Detailed Answer: Dear, As you have cycles on 4th of every month yesterday will be day 22 which is not in the fertile period. Your chances of getting pregnant in this cycle is less but occasionally we have seen that it is not always possible to predict ovulation. So in this cycle you can take the pill as soon as possible . Abstain from further intercourse in this cycle. You may have minor irregularities in period this cycle. No need to worry. Ipill does not effect your fertility in future. Pregnancy even if it occurs in the same cycle does not effect the baby. I pill is not a abortion drug. Repeated doses of ipill each cycle is not recommended as it disturbs the hormonal balance. It will be better to consider other methods in that case. Please write back if you have any queries. Thanks Dr Bhagyashree

Brief Answer: can take ipill safely as early as possible Detailed Answer: Dear XXXX Thanks for writing back. Pregnancy occurs when intercourse happens around ovulation whether it's first time or after many years doesn't matter. Your chance of pregnancy is less around day 22 but no one can tell when you had ovulated. There is no need to worry. You can take ipill safely in this cycle. Next cycle you can start oral contraceptive pills. Please write back after next period so that I can help you better. Thanks Dr Bhagyashree

Brief Answer: yes, if pregnant then no period. Detailed Answer: Dear XXXX Thanks for writing. As you mentioned you will not get your period if pregnancy happens. Do a urine test after 1 week after delayed period. You will know for sure. Sex during pregnancy is to be restricted especially in first 1-2 months. Other wise if no complications occur in pregnancy then intercourse is not restricted. Thanks Dr Bhagyashree
