Question: To be answered by Dr. Olgeta Xhufka

I have been now in period basically every single day!.
So for example last month my period started 5 of April and it finished 11 of April so it lasted 5 to 6 days but the blood still was brown not red.
After 13 days later I got my period again 24 of April and finished 3 of may so 10 days,
but since 4 of may till now 10 may its like I am still on my period, there are not much blood just like I said the period color is brown when I clean down there I get the brown blood when I clean again i don't get anything next day the same I see brown blood I clean again, Nothing!
I don't know what to do at all, is there anything I can do instead of taking Birth Control Pills?
I have been like this for so long now almost 7 month.

Brief Answer:
Do a total blood count and platelets count also coagulation factors.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear Azia, thank you for asking again.
I am sorry to hear that your problem still continues.

I suggest you do a total blood count with differentials and platelets count, also coagulation factors (8 and 9) and von Willebrand factor.

If this comes out to be normal you also may need to do an ultrasound to check your ovaries. There is a possibility of you having polycystic ovaries.

Taking estroprogestative contraception pills is useful and helpful in a possible imbalance or polycystic ovary syndrome.

I don't think that there can be any other alternative than taking contraception pills. Taking them correctly can help you.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
