Question: I have been treated for approximately 2 years for Hashimotos. My current Dr says my TSH is too low, (.03) and I feel miserable most of the time. I have sore achy, weak muscles in my legs and I am extremely sensitive to heat. He thinks I am over medicated. 75mcg of synthoid every other day, half a pill the other day. After several weeks, no change. Please help!

Brief Answer:
You are still over-medicated. We have to adjust the dosage once more.

Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you to my virtual clinic HCM!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

You definitely are over-dosaged and need readjustment. One fact is very clear that re-adjusted dose takes its effects properly in 6-8 weeks.

What was your dosage Of Synthroid before adjustment??
How much your doctor reduced and how much (exact) time has elapsed for the new dosage form; date of your doctor visit if you please remember??
0.03 TSH value is how old?? Date of the test report if you can remember??

We need to take it seriously as this isn't at all good for your heart too. I feel sorry for the situation you have. But don't worry we will it out together.

I am waiting for the details.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you in no time. If satisfied here, please give a generous five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.
For any disease you have, a timely follow-up after sometime regarding the treatment efficacy and to see any need to change the treatment options is very necessary. Keep a follow up some days after this visit session ends.
