Brief Answer:
Please request prescription from your doctor based on dose

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. For gall bladder stones, a single stone less than 10 mm can be allowed to dissolve with medicines when taken over 6 months and usually does not require surgery. You are having one stone measuring 4 mm and and therefore have a small risk of developing obstructive jaundice and complications from the gall stone

2. There are medicines like ursodeoxycholic acid which might dissolve the gall stone in some patients. It is available as UDILIV and available in various strengths and taken as a daily single dose. The dose is calculated depending on body weight and is about 6-12 mg/ kg/ day and should be taken in addition to a low fat diet.

3. This medicine might cause side effects and liver function tests are to be done regularly every 2 to 3 months when taking it. Please approach your doctor for a prescription and take it as recommended.

Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
