Suggest Treatment For Whole Body Itching While On Supro
Question: I have had bad itching all over my body (I have psoriasis) this problem became worse after taking supro for a lung infection. I have used many creams cortisone etc to no avail I am also onHydroxyzine 25 mg, the itching is debilitating

I have gone through your complaints.
In psoriasis the most important thing is to keep the body moisturised by frequent and liberal use of moisturisers. You can go for white soft paraffin and light liquid paraffin.
For plaques of psoriasis I recommend my patients to apply high potency steroid and salicylic acid combination like clobetasol propionate and salicylic acid combination cream on the affected areas twice daily.
If the itching is not getting improved with hydroxyzine go for other antihistaminics like tablet levocetrizine 5 mg twice daily in the morning and afternoon and tablet cyproheptadine 4 mg at bedtime.
These are prescription medicines and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
Besides this apply coconut oil on the body, avoid using harsh soaps and don't use hot water for bathing instead use lukewarm water.
