Brief Answer:
Ask her to aviod the triggers as well as cold temperatures.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. It seems that your wife has an allergic tendency. Allergy or hypersensitivitiy occurs when the body assumes some harmless item to be harmful and launches an attack on the same. Its important to identify the triggers which the body assumes to be harmful. The deodorants etc. an all the identified triggers need to be avoided. Cold temperatures depress our immunity and make us more vulnerable to such reactions and hence cold temperatures are to be avoided. Taking Montair LC (monteleukast + levocetirizine) [prescription medicine] off and on once daily when required should help in controlling such problems.

Give her steam inhalation when she catches cold.

Regards
