Brief Answer:
Physical excercises, calcium, alendronate.

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Your T score is-2.4 and you are having osteopenia. You are advised to get your vitamin D test and if found low you can take supplements of vitamin D3. You are advised to take Calcium supplements daily. You are advised to take alendronate 70 mg weekly. This is a prescription drug. Regular walking and physical exercises are advisable as physical activities are required to increase the bone density as bone density increase with response to stress. You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query is answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Walking and running is best excercises.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back

Walking and running is best excercises for increasing bone density. In place of calcium supplements you can take atleast 2 glasses of milk. Vitamin D3 can be have by taking Sun bath ( exposure to sun with least cloths) between 11am to 4pm for nearly one hour daily. Alendronate has no natural substitute. Everything else already discussed.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Brief Answer:
It doesn't mean so.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back
It doesn't mean that you should stop going to gym for work out. All excercises are useful but running and walking are more useful in inceasing bone density. In gym also you can run over machines meant for running.
Everything else already discussed.
