Question: Daughter has been treated for pin worms but is still complaining of tickling in butt. She goes days sometimes weeks and then for days straight it makes her cry for 5 to 10 mins sporadically

Hi.... usually treatment sir in what is two doses 10 days apart. I suggest you give her a course of the treatment again as she is still having symptoms.

You can give tablet Albendazole 400mg 1 tablet today and another tablet 10 days later.

If plain Albendazole is not showing results, Ivermectin combination is indicated. But it is a prescription drug and you will need one for it.

The medication which I suggested is a combination of Albendazole and Ivermectin.

In XXXXXXX this is a prescription medicine. In some countries Albendazole might be a over the counter medication, but definitely not Ivermectin.
