Brief Answer:
Use wrist splint, physical therapy and corticosteroid injections

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.

Your symptoms suggestive of carpal tunnel syndrome. You can use wrist splint and corticosteroid injections to relive your symptoms. Wrist splint prevents the wrist from bending, which can place pressure on the median nerve and aggravate your symptoms.

Physical therapy in form of ultrasound, stretching, and range-of-motion exercises will be helpful to relieve the symptoms.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Take care

should i keep doing my engraving wood work and my paintings cause this is what i like to do, would it make it worse?

I have another question that has nothing to do with carpal tunnel, well i like to try healing with natural herbs and spices, but because i take aspirin and ran-atorvastatin everyday. Is it safe for me to use ginger root and other natural herbs and spices in my food? the reason that i ask this apparently ginger root is also blood thinner from what i have been reading on computer.

Well thank you Doctor for your help,I will try the wrist splint hopefully that will do the job. Thank you again i have no more question.
