Question: lymph nodes front and back of neck
Dear Dr, I have since some months (cant define when exactly). i have swolloed lymph nodes behind my ear on right side, as well as on the same side next to my throat. as well as the back of my neck left and right side (in the middle), all of them are bit swallowed. you cant see it by eyes, but if you touch them by hand you feel them a small ball. the ones back at my neck when i touch them i feel slight pain. i went couple months ago to the GP, he said not to worry about them and he gave me some cream to put it on them. i did it for 3 weeks, made a slight change. regarding the one behind my right ear, it is a bit visible like tiny stone but no pain of it. the general problem i get some pain randomly at my neck if i press any where. i think due to i have the lymph nodes front and back a bit swallowed.

Brief Answer:
The nodes seem very small!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for contacting us at health care magic.

Lymph nodes are normal in the body. They only become a problem when they grow bigger than expected. Seeing them or being able to feel them do not make it an abnormality as this is often the case with thin persons. However, teh size and the way they feel during exam can help make the decision for a possible ongoing disease conditions and the need for more evaluation. From your description and the doctors; report, it appears this was not a problem. I will agree with the doctor for no immediate aggressive evaluation as nothing worrisome was identified.

For you, you need to be relaxed and stop being too alarm that something wrong is happening. My advice would be that you stay calm and observe only at this time. If there is increased pain and or increase in size, report for more review. Avoid touching at them all the time as it causes irritation and may lead to pain.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
