Thanks for posting the query

The swelling on the sides of the face and the neck could be due to various reasons such as:
1. Parotitis-Infection of the parotid
2. Angioneurotic edema
3. Temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction, etc.

A thorough examination of the neck and parotid is required to the narrow in on the diagnosis.

Visit ER if there is breathing difficulty or severe pain. Also, if you can post the image of the swelling, I can help you in a better way.

Brief Answer:
The description seems to be related to Parotitis..

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing back. I sincerely apologize for the delay in answering the query.

1. Swelling below the ears could be related to the parotid infection. Hence, you will require broad spectrum antibiotics for the treatment of the same. Apart from that, you need to drink plenty of warm water, you can take some sour items to clear the block in the parotid duct. Sour items increase the production of saliva and flushes out the clogged secretions. Avoid smoking/alcohol/coffee.

2. You can upload the images to YYYY@YYYY with a note to Dr. Naveen Kumar, ENT specialist.

I wish you good health and good luck.
