Brief Answer:
To be treated with appropriate antibiotics on the basis of a culture report

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.

I understood that you had oral sex with another man, not with a girl?
Are you a insertive partner or recipient?
If you are a insertive partner then your throat problem is not related to STD.
If you are recipient, then the your problem would be likely to be due to either STD or due to a common non-STD pathogen.
Tonsillitis can manifest without a sore throat and with a heaviness of throat. Swollen and red tonsils indicates inflammation-- Tonsillitis.
It has to be treated with appropriate antibiotics on the basis of culture and sensitivity report from the throat swab. Warm saline gargle twice or thrice will help you for a speedy recovery. Consult an E.N.T surgeon and get well. Protected oral sex in future will be safe in future.

Brief Answer:
HIV risk is low with oral sex

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Unprotected oral sex carries a low risk for HIV infection when compared to anal or Vaginal sex as per CDC, XXXXXXX USA.
Possibility of tonsillitis through ordinary non STD organism is more as pharyngitis is more common with STD organisms rather than tonsillitis..
