Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
There is a stomach infection which you have got from eating outside food. It can also be due to water contamination leading to the infection.

The medications given by your doctor are appropriate.
1.ofloaxacin &ornidazole is for infection
2.rifagut 400 is also to treat the diarrhea
3.dvn 40 is for the pain you have
4. pantop 40 is to prevent gastritis

Apart from above, you may please prepare ORS solution and take it every 30 minutes to prevent dehydration. You must take home cooked soft food for next one week and drink lots of water and fresh juices.

Hope your query is answered.

Please take medication for a week

Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

If you take the medication for a week then there is less chance of chronic disease. The only condition that can complicate the situation is typhoid. You can tell mess person to make khicdi and aloo chokha for a week.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

It is possible that the amount of contaminated food was less or you have a strong immunity. This can control watery loose motions but having multiple bowel movements confirms irritation of the bowel due to a contaminant.

If there is no watery bowel movement then you can skip Rifagut 400 and continue the rest for a week.

Soft food is easy to digest and will not irritate the inner mucosa lining the bowel. This is to regularise stools and stop the feeling of stomach not being cleared.

If you remember that you had food from the road side stall then it was diarrhea but you are strong or ate in very small quantity and that is why did not have complete diarrhea.

Hope your query is answered.
