Brief Answer:
Possibility of candidal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic
I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query.
You seem to have candidal balanoposthitis. It is caused by candida-a yeast.
Diabetes is a predisposition for slow responding or recurrent candidal balanoposthitis. I would suggest a blood sugar test in your case.
Oral antibiotics is also one of the cause for candidal balanoposthitis. As you have been on augmentin, I would suggest you to discontinue it if it was not prescribed for some other condition.
I would suggest an oral antifungal e.g tab fluconazole 150 mg, single dose.
Topically you may use clotrin-B cream (clotrimazole + beclomethasone) twice daily for a week.
Regards
