Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

This looks like it could possibly be a minor infection. Infections in this part of the nose can commonly because by staph bacteria.

it's very important that you try not to rub this area for cause additional irritation.you could try and over-the-counter topical antibiotic ointment but if the symptoms do not improve within 24 to 48 hours it might be necessary for you to obtain a prescription topical antibiotic such as Bactroban.

also try to maintain good hygiene with your hands and minimize any touching of your nose as much as possible.

Thanks again for sending your question.

sincerely,

Detailed Answer:
thanks for the additional information.

If you have the Bactroban available I would consider applying a small amount to the affected area 3 to 4 times per day for the next few days. Hopefully this will lead to gradual resolution.

Sincerely,

do you think it's mrsa related or just a little infected, I was on antibiotics a few months ago because there was colonization of mrsa in my nose and it went away, also tomorrow I start antibiotics for sinus infection
