Brief Answer:
In my opinion it's a soft tissue bruising.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic, Thanks for writing to us,

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad, I have read your question, I understand your concern and will try to help you in the best possible way.

I am sorry to know about the pain you are heaving but its comforting that you don't seem to be having any fractured bone.
Here I will explain to you why you are having this pain and tenderness, I will also suggest you some simple to do measures which will help your recover fast.

When one falls the biggest concern is a fractured bone, and it seems that you same how stayed safe, that's why you are able to move your arm quite freely., Second concern is soft tissue injury , soft tissues include muscles, tendons, ligaments etc.

In my opinion you seem to be having a soft tissue injury, that might well be a bruised or pulled muscle or a sprained tendon, this is not as dangerous as a bone fracture but it might pain for some days and then it gets better with time as broken tissue filaments get repaired.

There are some measures you can take to make healing process fast and more effective.

1) Give the area good rest , do move it so that it doesn't freeze at a point but don't put any pressure , don't lift any heavy object and don't lie down on that side.

2) Apply brufen or diclofenac cream massage over the paining area this will relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

3) Warm compresses do help loosening up the spasmed tissue and makes the tissue heal fatser.

4) Take some vitamin supplement like Centrum it gives you more healing power and saves the tissue from anti oxidant damage.

5) If weather allows, a warm shower helps loosening this hardened swollen fibers which makes it heal faster.

6) You can take tylenol for pain.

I am quite positive that if you follow the following insturctions, your symptoms will be relieved soon and healing process will be much faster. It may take a couple of weeks more so don't be anxious everything should be fine soon.

I Hope this answers your question, if your have more queries feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it. Wish you the best of health.
