Brief Answer:
there is possibility of soft tissue injury in knee

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have studied your case.

As per your age and history there is possibility of soft tissue injury in knee.
Most commonly meniscus injury occurs.

As per your symptoms you need to do physiotherapy and knee exercises to improve walking .
You may need to take rest for few days.
If pain persist then you may need to do MRI again to see for any functional defect.

Small meniscus tear can be managed conservatively with physiotherapy with USG and TENS.
Meniscus injury can be managed by arthroscopic repair

Assuming it is just a soft tissue injury, do you think I will be able to play tennis in 10 days? I am entered into a national grass court tournament and would not like to withdraw.

Explained below

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

If it is just grade 1 sprain or muscle stretch then you may recover early.

If meniscus or collateral ligament injury of severe grade is there then it may take around 3 weeks to heal after proper evaluation and treatment.

MRI will help in grading soft tissue injury.
