Brief Answer:
Get a pregnancy test done first.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.

In such a scenario of irregular bleeding, it is important to first get a pregnancy test done to find out if pregnancy is the cause of this bleeding.

If pregnancy is excluded, the other possible causes of such bleeding are:

1. Hormonal imbalance
2. Endometrial or cervical polyp
3. Large cervical erosion
4. Thyroid hormone imbalance
5.Ovarian cyst

Therefore if pregnancy is excluded, consult gynecologist for internal examination, hormone tests and pelvic ultrasound.

I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
