Question: Hi the right side of my knee pops and a sharp shooting pain goes down both sides of leg into my feet hurts to walk can't keep knee straight or bend it

The popping of the knee and a sharp shooting pain is suggestive of an injury to the internal structures of the knee. It can be due to capsular inflammation or decreased joint lubricants also. Proper diagnosis needs an MRI scan of the knee.
Till then it is best to avoid weight bearing on the knee, use a knee brace, do a hot compress and take mild pain killers available over the counter.
