Question: Hi-I have a 33 yr he of SLE and Sjogrens with high monos and basis recently. WBC also low routinely and IgA of 5000. Very high Anti Ro and la antibodies.Recent symptoms include severe scalp itchiness, intermittent nausea, increased fatigue, low grade fevers and golf ball sized rock hard swelling on sternal clavicle. Plain X-ray negative. Rheum. appt in 2 days. Assume she will order a Ct or MRI. Worried about NHL. Thoughts? Thanks! xxxxxx

I understand this could be very disturbing with these symptoms to cause you to worry. However, the pathologies diagnosed completely explain them. NHL are tumours that can develop in any other person. you do not present with any special risk profile for NHL

I suggest your main concern now should be appropriate medication and life style modifications as you meet your rheumatologist soon.
