Question: What can I do about the pain in my right hip due to wearing orthodic boot on my left foot? I've tried wearing higher shoes thinking it would level me out. But I'm still having no luck.Would ice or heat or both help

Brief Answer:
Hot compress will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in the right hip is due to stress on the muscles due to postural changes. Doing a hot compress and taking oral muscle relaxants will help. The pain is likely to decrease on its own in next few weeks.
In case the pain is persistent then do consult an orthopedician for proper examination and evaluation.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
