Brief Answer:
More information needed

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

In order to give advice on your headache it would be useful to have some more information on the headache such as:
- Is the pain of a sudden onset or gradually increasing
- Is this the first episode or you have a history of headache, if the later for how long, is it progressive or are they headache attacks with normal periods in between.
- Other phenomena such as nausea/vomiting, increased sensitivity to light and sound, eye lacrimation, nasal congestion and discharge, fever, weakness of the limbs on one side etc.
- Any other medical conditions, other current or prior medication apart from the pain killers you mention.
- Family history of migraine or other particular issues.

The reason that information is necessary is to determine the most likely origin of the headache. If you have a history of chronic headache, with attacks with vomiting, sensitivity to light etc migraine is more likely and treatment with triptan class of medication (sumatriptan, zolmitriptan etc) is recommended. If headache progressive over several months issues like tumor should be considered, if very acute, intense of sudden onset subarachnoid hemorrhage may be considered and so on, so brain imaging may be required.

I remain at your disposal for other questions, possibly with the requested information.
