Question: My niece XXXXXXX is 46, former Navy, had Pancreatic cancer surgery 10 yr ago
She lives in XXXXXXX I saw her at Christmas. She was unable to open a gift,
Could barely walk, whole body shook, extreme fatigue and has daily migraines.
She told me they wanted to do a brain scan but can not do it with the migraines. She is trying to go to work but does zero housework including prepare meals. I was told she had
a concussion while in the Navy. I feel she is seriously ill. Her family is concerned she will lose her job as she misses so much work due to illness. I am in fear of her Life.

Brief Answer:
Hello. It is unlikely that cancer will recur after 10 years

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. It is very unlikely that pancreatic cancer will recur after a gap of 10 years. But cancer can behave bizarre and anything can happen. At least an ultrasound of abdomen can be done to look for the cancer. If there is relapse, then some form of treatment can be planned.
Thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
Hello. This may point towards some endocrine disorder or second malignancy

Detailed Answer:
hello dear. In my opinion, this may also point towards a second malignancy or some endocrine disorder. She requires a detailed clinical examination followed by relevant investigations like
Complete blood counts, liver, kidney and thyroid function tests
Serum, calcium and vitamin D estimation
Urine examination
Tests for diabetes
MRI of the brain
And as i said ultrasonography of the abdomen
if required , then a ct scan of abdomen
Tumor markers like CA 125, CA 19.9, CEA.
Prior to all these tests, a clinical examination in detail is must.
You can discuss these with your doctor and proceed accordingly
Thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
My best wishes are with you
