I have dust allergic problem and get cold cough and wheezing problem as soon as i get in contact with dust. I used to consult and use homeopathic medicine. But I will need something for immediate relief as i will be travelling in couple of days. Can you please suggest some medicine for cough and wheezing.

Brief Answer:
you need a bronchodilator...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Presence of wheeze along with cough suggest bronchospasm which could be secondary to either bronchitis or asthma. Pulmonary function test is necessary to differentiate the two condition and also to know the severity of problem.

At present, I think you will benefit with the use of bronchodilator drugs like asthalin For better results it needs to be taken as metered dose inhaler. Please visit a doctor nearby who can prescribe you one such metered dose inhaler. You can also plan further testing if deemed necessary.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
