Brief Answer:
There is chance of muscle injury

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to HCM.

I have studied her case and I think that there can be two possibilities.

1.It can be muscle sprain. it will improve with its own. She needs to take bed rest and hot water fomentation. She can also use muscle relaxant like myoril or myospaz. Use of local hot fomentation and ointment like Myoril or Myospaz is also useful.

2.There is rare chances of fracture as well. In this age even missing a step can cause fracture. So if there is no relief even after rest and she continues to feel pain then she should get x ray of the spine to make sure that there is no fracture in the spine.

If there is such fracture then she will need brace and bed rest for 3 to 4 weeks.

I hope this answer will be useful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
