Question: I was caughing very hard when it felt like my stomach ripped in two. Now I have severe pain when I go to caugh again and move about. sorry about spelling

This is obviously distendion of rectus muscle and you don't need to worry.or it can be pinched intercostal nerve. In every case it should pass in short time,just rest,take nonsteroid painkillers and breathe normally. Wish you good health. Regards
