Question: my son underwent corrective surgery for buried penis at his one of year of age..before the procedure his both testes were at the bottom of the scrotum..after the procedure and now (he s 2 years old ) both testes are in the middle of the scrotum and left one is even little above..when his body temperature is high both the testes are not coming to the bottom of the scrotum..still there in the same place ..not moving farther from the body ..only scrotal skin hangs down..wat to do?will it become problem in his fertility?pls answer..

I share your concerns. But let me tell you that it is not a cause of concern, as testes need to be in scrotum, not necessarily at the bottom. Even testes at the middle level would be able to produce hormones and sperms required for fertility.

Generally DARTOS muscle is manipulated to correct buried penis. This might be reason behind the position of testes, as it is(Dartos muscle) pulled upwards to bring up the buried penis.You can meet the surgeon who performed the surgery or you can meet any other surgeon with the complete treatment history specially operation notes. This will help you in finding out the cause behind the present condition and take surgeon's opinion also.
