Brief Answer:
Either it is contact dermatitis Or a sunlight induced eruption

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the image.

I can see blotchy redness on malar area on both sides of face.

This could be either a result of contact dermatitis to some cream or cosmetic that she may be using Or it could also be a sunlight induced eruption i.e polymorphic light eruption.

I suggest that she uses a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% cream, twice daily for a few days. That should make it fine.

She should avoid sun as much as possible Or elsr she may use a broad spectrum sunscreen 1/2 hour before stepping out in the sun.

She may use a gentle cleanser e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion for face wash.

An OTC oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine tablet once daily in evening would provide her symptomatic relief from itching.

Regards
