Seems like Inflamed Circumvallate papillae..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome Again..
As per your complain it seems that the red spots at the back of mouth due to accidentally drinking mouthwash can be inflamed Circumvallate papillae that contains taste buds..
It seems that there has been chemical injury to the papillae with concentrated solution of the mouthwash..
In case if there is no pain, nothing to worry as gradually the inflammation will subside..
You can do warm saline gargles..
Soda bi-carb gargles by dissolving soda bicarb in water can also help..
sucking ice and cold water rinses can help..
Drink plenty of water..
Avoid spicy and hot foods..
Continue for a week and revert me back with the progress so that I can advise you further..
Wishing you a good health..
Thanks and regards,
Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
