Brief Answer:
It is better to seek medical attention for diagnosis and treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
Red swollen eye can be caused by infections of the eyelid or conjunctiva or by inflammation affecting the cornea or the iris.

Since there is no discharge of pus it is unlikely to be conjunctivitis.

Since she is having painful red eye this requires examination to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

As of now she can start using antibiotic eye drops like Moxifloxacin eye drops and use pain killer tablets for symptomatic relief.

Hope this answers your question and the information is helpful to you.
