Question: So im pretty sure this is a yeast onfection, there is no discharge, its just mildly itchy at times. One thing I have never seen before is spots and right now I have spots all over the head of my penis. I have applied over the counter clotrimazole for three days now. Does it look and sound like a yeast infection? Why wont the spots fade away? I know it is not scabbies or syphilis. Nor is it herpes as my hsv2 is negative and I have had no recent partners. What is going on?

Brief Answer:
Yeast infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have seen the images.
Yes, this is yeast infection of glans. You may continue with clotrimazole cream, twice daily for 3-4 more days. Else you may also take a single dose of an oral antifungal e.g fluconazole 150mg in addition to clotrimazole cream.
