Brief Answer:
Nebulization should help

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concern. Such problems are usually due to viral cause and often have an allergic component. Probably it is the allergic component that is making the cough persist. You have done the right thing by starting nebulization. That would be the mainstay of treatment. Alongside you need to give nasoclear saline nasal drops to clear nasal blockage, if any. You may give Mucolite Drops to help in diluting the cough. Nasoclear and Mucolite will hopefully help the child to sleep better.

You would need to be patient. I understand that this might seem to be an exorbitant demand but being impatient is not an option.

Regards
