Brief Answer:
Antibiotic therapy is mandatory

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The best approach and most important one would be antibiotic therapy, and so it would be best to visit a doctor for a prescription but the medications used for best results would be:

+Metronidazole 500 mg one tablet twice a day for 7-14 days
+Trimethoprim(80 mg) and sulfamethoxazole (400 mg) combination

I would recommend a visit to your doctor for a prescription as this would be best in your interest. Please also feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Yes sir, you will, please do initiate them

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.

Yes sir, most definitely. Even more because of the infection being in the lung tissue, as the lung tissue is one such tissue that not only takes a long time to heal, but can also result in scar formation (in the lungs once healing takes place, not always, but possible), and also does not self-resolve any infections.

Please do consider the antibiotics and initiate them at the earliest. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
