Brief Answer:
Tinea i.e fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have viewed the Imagees.

This seems like a fungal infection i.e tinea rather than psoriasis.
I suggest you to take an oral antifungal e.g tab terbinafine 250mg (Zimig tablet) once daily for 2 weeks.
In addition you may take a tablet of cetrizine 10mg once daily in evening for symptomatic relief from itching.
Also use a topical antifungal cream e.g terbinafine 1% cream (Zimig cream), twice daily for 2 weeks.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Seems a fungal infection rather than psoriasis

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I have reviewed the Images.
This seems like a fungal infection rather than psoriasis. Patches of psoriasis usually are deep red and have silvery scale. Moreover psoriasis is more common on extensor arms and legs and areas like elbows, knee, lower back and scalp.
I suggest you to try the medication and follow up after 2 weeks.
I have suggested you to take oral antifungal tablet (Zimig 250mg tablet) and use topical antifungal cream (Zimig cream) for 2 weeks.
Sweating, heat and humidity in groins favors growth of fungus and this manifests as red, circular or ring like patches in groin folds and adjacent skin.
As a general precaution I suggest you to wear cotton undergarments and bath twice daily specially in hot weather and use an antifungal soap for bath e.g Dersil AF body wash Or Kz soap.

Regards
