Question: My grand father is a 75 year old and he's complaining chest pain on the right side. He's unable to sleep properly at night due to pain. Please find the attached reports and let us know if this is something serious and what type of treatment needs to be taken.

I have gone through the reports you have attached.

CT scan of thorax is clearly showing malignant mass like lesion in posterior segment of right upper lobe which is invading 3rd rib which is causing sever right sided back pain.
Lung cancer is serious disease.

Firstly, he needs biopsy to confirm the maligancy and to know the type of cancer.

Usually chemotherapy is needed depending on type of cancer.
So, it's better to consult oncologist and discuss all these.
