Suggest Treatment For Painful Swelling In The Foot

Question: Spent a 5-6 hours standing on a concrete floor. Now have severe pain and slight swelling on the top of one foot and moderate discomfort, no swelling on top of the other just above the toes. Not sure what to do. Ibuprofen hardly makes a dent.

What is the diagnosis and how did this happen?

Hello,
I have studied your case.I think Brufen is not enough for such pain. I have following suggestions for you.
1.Tablet Tramadol one to twice daily.
2.Tablet Diclofenac sodium (Voveron ) 50 mg three times a day.
3.Hot water fomentation.
4.Volitran gel local application
5.Compression bandage can be applied.

prolong standing on feet on hard surface has caused soft tissue fatigue in feet. it is called tenosynovitis. It will improve with rest and above mentioned treatment.
