Brief Answer:
Inform the partner .Nothing to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
welcome to health care magic. I have gone through the details.

I presume it was warts as hpv is mentioned.
Warts are benign and they do not go for malignant changes.
There are no fresh or recurrent lesions past 1 year as per description.
HPV is a common infection. It can be transmitted be touch or as STDs.
The chances of recurrence is less if lesions have not appeared for past year. The chances of transmission to others is remote.
It is not a serious infection to worry about. You can inform the partners about episode
It is better to be faithful
You can get the partner vaccinated.

You can get back for any clarification.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
The chances of transmission is higher if active lesions are present.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

Herpes simplex virus 1 or 2 can be transmitted by skin to skin contact or by kiss or as STDs.

The chances of transmission are higher when active lesions are present. They can remain asymptomatic .The chances during this period is very less. The chances are less now as there are no active lesions.

Herpes is known for recurrence. It reduces in frequency and severity as days passby.

Herpes is not a severe disease. It does not lead to any complications. You can discuss with your partner about this disease.

You can get back for any clarification.
Thank you
