Question: hi, am having pain on the rear side of my knee, it happened while i was playing badminton. now am taking tendocare tablets as my medicine. its been 3 weeks since the injury has happened now i want to use zedfit collagen powder, can you please suggest me?

Tendocare tablets contains chondroitin sulfate 200 MG,collagen peptide 40 MG,sodium hyaluronate 30 MG,vitamin C 35 MG tablet which is essentially nutritional supplement.

ZEDFIT contains collagen Peptide and Administration of it stimulates the anabolic phase of cartilage matrix turnover. This brings about a phase of regeneration and stability in joint cartilage.

Daily supplement of collagen peptide (Tab.Zedfit) promotes cartilage health,improves joint flexibility and mobility and reduces joint pain.There is no issue to take it rather it would be useful for you.

But I will want to rule out the chances of ligament tear (cruciate ligaments of knee joint) by doing MRI scan if you have not done it earlier as you still feel pain while playing badminton even after 3 weeks as stated by you. Your orthopedician will know about it.

Zedfit 10 gm (Collagen Peptide) granules XXXXXXX should be taken with one cup milk or water daily.

The cartilage is essentially avascular structure and is therefore quite a difficult area to heal. So,it requires long term therapy with essential nutrients and vitamins.

The best way to recover the health of the cartilage is,
1) to reduce inflammation,
2) increase nutrients and antioxidants to the joint area,
3) to reduce wear and tear of joint.

Increase your diet containing essential fatty acids such as fish,flax seed oil and raw oils.

Reduce foods which are acidic like red meats,wheat, sugar, tea, coffee, alcohol as these foods may increase the inflammation of cartilage.

Increase alkalizing foods like lemon juice, sprouts, nuts, seeds, fish, grains to reduce inflammation and acidity.

Take plenty of water and juices orally to maintain proper hydration which will enhance cartilage healing.
