Brief Answer:
Cervical spondylosis with possible pinched nerve

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.
Professor
Do you have pain at the back of the neck?

Does the pain radiates from the back of the neck or shoulders down to your arm ?

Any tingling or numbness?

Have you done any heavy work using your arms, recently?

According to the history you have provided, it appears to be cervical spondylosis with possible pinched nerve due to slip disc.

Avoid bending the neck forward, avoid using thick pillow, apply hot water bag to the painful regions, avoid lifting weights use proper ergonomic facilities at work and good lighting. Along with Ibuprofen, take muscle relaxant like Tablet Thicolchicoside 8mg twice a day for 5 days after meals. This will reduce make spasm and give relief. It can also cause drowsiness so take the tablet after driving and reaching your destination.

Kindly respond to my queries for me to be in a better position to help you.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
