Question: Hes I havebeen going to a dactor that I meant in the hospitol...we recenlt have moved th AZ and havent found a prymar care physision yet. He prescribed me percacet twice and then say he wanted me to try 100 mg a day of gabapentin since it was no narcotic. I gave me 1 100mg pill once a day and I have called is office repeadly to see if my prescription could be puched up. 300mg a day is not cutting it, I have both an esophogial scope and broncial scope scheduled 11/11 and I can arrord to continue to shell out $55 evertime I ask to have my meds refilled or turned up. I do get some relief of the gabapentin but nothing like the 7.5 percacet

Brief Answer:
Buprenorphine

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Since eating anything is still extremely painful and you are not getting full pain relief from gabapentin and your next esophageal scope and bronchial scope is scheduled on 11/11/14 I would advise buprenorphine 10 mg transdermal patch for you.

You can apply one patch to a dry, non-irritated, non-hairy area of your skin on your upper body such as your chest, upper back or the outside of your arms.

Leave it in place for seven days and then remove it and replace it with a new patch, but apply the replacement patch to a different area of skin on your upper body.

Avoid using the area from where you have removed the patch for at least three weeks.

Continue to replace your patches once a week, on the same day of the week.

You will get the patch with a doctors prescription.

Brief Answer:
side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hi

You are already taking right dose of gabapentin.

Increasing the dose will cause side effects such as unsteadiness and continuous rolling eye movements.

Buprenorphine is ten times more potent then gabapentin and will control your pain better.

Online prescriptions are not valid in getting Gabapentin. You need to see a doctor for prescription.

If you have no more clarifications then please rate the answer and close the thread.
