Question: Ive had pain on the bone behind the left ear the last week. Only hurts to the touch, no inner ear pain. Now i have a cold with a sore throat and slight cough.

This could be mastoiditis, which is an infection that spreads to the bony space behind the ear. With a sore throat and cough, this represents an area from which the infection could have spread. I would visit a doctor for a CT scan of the mastoid air space, and to consider starting antibiotics.
