Suggest Treatment For Occasional Spasms In Chest While Having Anxiety
Question: I had triple bypass 3 and 1/2 years ago and sometimes experience what I refer to as a spasm that lasts
about 10 seconds. Tonight I put out the garbage out on a cold night and just had one. took my blood pressure
and it was 135 over 79. no other pains except the one in my head that I get anxiety about.
Never experience shortage of breath but sometime if I turn a certain way I feel a pain

Brief Answer:
Provide more information
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I have read your query and understand the concern.
Occasional spasm for few seconds could be related to your anxiety or vasovagal or might some ectopic beats occasionally but very unlikely to be related to heart.
Will you please describe this spasm in more detailes like how you feel during spasm or where exactly, over chest or somewhere else?
Since your blood pressure is normal with normal EKG as your doctor did,I do not think there is anything to be concerned much.
Kindly get back to me with more information, I will be happy to help as far as I can.
Awaiting your response.
