default
Posted on Tue, 6 Jun 2017
Question: Hi Doc,

Lately I am seeing issues with my legs getting numb when I sit for some time. Also I used to bike and I got a tail bone pain and sometimes a numbness in my tailbone area. You think it is something bad with MS or something ? I used to ignore tail bone pain and I am worried now..

To add I am seeing the General Physician tomorrow. In our Family no one have MS and I am XXXXXXX origin. Any help or suggestion will be helpful.

Thank you for the Answer Doctor. I am not sure why I am feeling the tingling both feet lately, is there a way to fix the nerve compression ?

I had a knee pain and I did hot and cold while I took shower. So it helped with pain and I changed the shoes and it helped me get rid of the tingling on my feet.

I have head aches now and last night I slept only 5 hours or so. I am not sure what is going on. I am not sure if there is anything needs to be concerning.

Brief Answer:
Anxiety appears to be the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

As I said, your symptoms are all non-specific, probably related to anxiety or some depression.
There does not appear to be any organic cause of the same.

Lack of sleep obviously causes headache, there is no big point in that.It is 'Stress headache' which is the most common form of headache worldwide.

You just need to do mental relaxation exercises and you will be fine.

Hope that helps. If you have further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

I have the numbness or some sensation in my left cheek near jaw it comes and goes and when I wake up in the morning I have that stretch feel. Is it something like a nerve pinch ? My general Physician asked me to not to worry about it.

I am not sure what is the Anxiety part here I am trying to not to focus or think but I feel something odd around my left cheek. So it always comes back into my mind. Trying my best. Does pollen allergies can cause these symptoms ? I have nasal block some times runny nose and battery eyes and headaches.

Watery eyes - not battery*

Brief Answer:
Anxiety can cause bizarre symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

Anxiety can often cause bizarre non specific symptoms.
If neurological examination does not reveal any abnormality,it becomes the most likely cause.

Nasal blockade can of course cause headache. An ENT specialist's opinion can be taken for the same.

Hope that helps. Please be in follow up for further queries.
