Brief Answer:
Sleep with pillow to support neck muscle

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting
After going through your description of Injury, I hope you have been seen by primary care physician/Emergency room? What did they said?
You may use drugs like Ibuprofen along with muscle relaxant (Thiocolchicoside), soft neck collar and hot water fomentation will help. You may have to talk to your local doctor as these are prescription only drugs.
Avoid unnecessary neck movement/exercises; sleep with the pillow with thickness equal to your forearm.
Hope this helps and I shall be glad to answer any further query.
Take care

Yes I did go to the hospital and they scanned me and said I was fine but my neck is hurting and when I sit down and get back up my head is throbbing. Is it just the pressure going to my head?

Hi
It’s good to see you
Going by the mode of injury it will take few days for the pain to go. Meanwhile you may continue with the medicine as discussed earlier to reduce your suffering. As I can make out from your description and treating doctor’s statement I may assure you there is nothing much to worry about.
If the problem persists you may get CT scan brain done after consultation with your doctor.
Hope this helps.
