Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Vomiting And Abdominal Bloating

default
Posted on Thu, 13 Aug 2015
Question: I have had a stitch under my right rib off and on all week. I am currently on a food allergy elimination diet, so my food intake has changed a bit. Also, on Monday, experienced several hours of pain and vomiting. After dinner last night, I felt really painfully bloated around my belly button area, and kept being reminded on that stitch sensation. Tossed and turned last night and felt that the bloating feeling eventually moved to my lower abdomen. I had two bowel movements today, took a gas-x and a probiotic. However, today I feel that place on my right rib cage feels bruised and sore to the touch. I also have a mild ache in my lower abdomen as well--almost like a uterine kind of cramping. I scheduled an appoint with a gastro doctor for next Tuesday, but should I see someone sooner? Should I be immediately concerned?
In the above description, I didn't mean "pain & vomiting", I meant "nausea & vomiting". Thanks!

Please provide more information and consider these guidelines

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I had gone through your question very diligently and I appreciate your concern.
Looking at your description your symptoms might be related to gastrointestinal or liver related issue, I will definitely help you in best possible way.

At the outset, I would like further information for better assessment of the condition
Have you taken any medicine in last week or so?
Are you having loose motion or symptoms of acid reflux ?
Do you smoke or consume liquor or carbonated drinks like cola and all?
any history of burning urination or itching in genital area?
Please upload a photograph of bruised area?

In my opinion you should take anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or omeprazole group of drugs with antacids and anti emetic like domperidone or ondansetron.
Have lots of fresh fruits and steamed vegetables, avoid fried spicy and junk food

If your symptoms doesn't improve in a day or two than you need to seek medical help.

Please write back to me with all the details I have asked for, so that I will be able to tell you more accurately.
Wishing you good health
