Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, Thanks for posting to us.
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.

A finding of mild prostatomegaly alone in ultrasound is nothing to be worried in your age.
This just indicates a very common condition called BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy).

No treatment is needed unless it causes features of urinary obstruction. If symptomatic, initially we treat with drugs (smooth muscle relaxing agents and hormone receptor blockers) and go for surgery only if this fails.

If you have family history of prostate cancer, you can just ask your doctor to do a serum PSA assay; otherwise nothing to be done.

No specific diet modification needed for this condition; but a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and low in animal fat will be good for overall health.

Hope this will answer your query.

Wishing you good health
Thank you.
