Brief Answer:
could be the diabetes

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It is sometimes the case that with diabetes you can become incontinent of stool. This is distressing but it is very important that your sugars stay in good control. Other causes of loose stools and incontinence are inflammatory bowel disorders or infections. If you have not had a colonoscopy then it would be a good idea to get one to examine your colon for inflammation and other abnormalities.
It would be a good idea to get a stool culture and a parasite panel as well to rule out infection.
You could try some over the counter imodium for temporary relief but you really need to work with your doctor to find the cause so that you can get appropriate treatment.
