Suggest Treatment For Loose Stool And Fever In Child

Question: docter.im from XXXXXXX lanka.my child age 10 month.after he take his lunch thursday evening he vomited all things.after that he vomited 3 times.after that we take medicine from docter.he give erythro piriton and pcm.that time temp was 102.after next day he started loose stool.temperature around 102 friday and saturday. 10 times per day loose stool.he passed blood with stool saturday evening.we admited him to hospital same time.now docter says he is having blood loose motion.whats happen.what kind of treatment we shod given.please explain

Welcome to the HCM,
Food poisoning should be the diagnosis.
Stool culture is must to know the exact bug caused the problem and stool culture sensitivity will also guide about the exact antibiotic to be used.which is to be used by your peadiatrician with recommended dose.
Hydration of the baby to be managed with oral ORS or intravenous fluid.
Electrolyte imbalance also to be managed .
