Brief Answer:
hold off solid food, fluid/electrolyte replacement, probiotics, pepcid

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The most common cause for uncontrolled bowel movements , abdominal pain and abnormal taste in the mouth would be infection , either viral or bacterial.

Viral infection is more common. In both cases, the infection is self limiting and the main aspects of treatment involves making sure enough fluids and electrolytes are used to replace those lost and using medication to help with discomfort.

Treatment mainly involves: (1)hold off solid food till there is a 4 hour time period with no symptoms

(2) using pedialyte or an adult oral rehydration fluids or dilute gatorade (has to be dilute because original has in too much sugar that may worsen bowel movements- once dilute it would give back fluid and electrolytes)

(3)paracetamol to help pain, best not to use meds such as ibuprofen/naproxen or voltaren because these would irritate the stomach more and worsen the taste in your mouth

(4)probiotics, either on their own or with yogurt with probiotics. These help to restore the normal bacteria in the intestines and help the loose stool to resolve quicker

(5)pepcid/ zantac would help with the taste as well

(6)can continue the peptobismol

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
